The University of Bristol is just an 18 minute walk from The Quarter House, or around 17 minutes by public transport and 12 minutes by bike. The University of the West of England is around 23 minutes away by public transport, Trinity College can be reached in around 45 minutes by public transport, and the University of Law is just a 21 minute walk or 8 minute cycle from The Quarter House.
You will find several supermarkets just a short walk from The Quarter House, making it easy to pick up groceries, essentials and last-minute bits whenever you need them. Nearby options include a Sainsbury’s Local and Tesco Express on Broadmead, as well as Lidl on Union Street.
The nearest major hospital is Bristol Royal Infirmary on Marlborough Street, BS2 8HW, a stone's throw away from The Quarter House and one of Bristol's city-centre hospitals.
With St James Park just a 4 minute walk away, Castle Park (10 minutes) and Brandon Hill (15 minutes), there are plenty of nearby green spaces to enjoy.
Bristol Bus & Coach Station is a 3 minute walk away and Temple Meads Train Station is a 19 minute journey via public transport, or 25 minute walk and 9 minute cycle, making it easy to get around the city, head home for the weekend or travel further afield.
